Understanding the Migration Process: Technical Insights

Eligibility and Requirements

To take advantage of these benefits, organizations must meet specific criteria:

  • Existing License Status: You must have a valid perpetual Dynamics license (such as NAV, GP, SL, or AX) purchased prior to September 1, 2024.

  • Active Enhancement Plan: Your EP must be active at the time of enrollment. While there is a 30-day grace period for lapsed plans, customers with older lapses must pay back-dated fees (capped at a maximum of three years) to re-enter eligibility.

  • Minimum Value Requirement: The annualized value of your new cloud licenses must equal or exceed your existing annual EP renewal amount.

  • Exclusion of Prior Participants: Organizations that have previously utilized the "Bridge to the Cloud 1" or "Bridge to the Cloud 2" promotions are generally ineligible for BTC3.
