During the migration period, you maintain the right to continue using, expanding, and upgrading your legacy on-premises system alongside your new cloud deployment.   3. Free Enhancement Plan (EP) Renewals: During the promotional term, Microsoft allows you to request Enhancement Plan renewals for your on-premises version at no additional cost. This effectively protects your prior investment while you build your future in the cloud.

  4. Discounted Migration Support: If you require additional on-premises perpetual user licenses to support your business during the migration, you can utilize a 50% discount on those licenses until December 31, 2027.

  5. Exclusive Business Central Incentives: Customers migrating to Dynamics 365 Business Central online from concurrent user products may request additional licenses at no extra cost for up to two years, provided they meet specific threshold requirements.

Eligibility and Requirements

To take advantage of these benefits, organizations must meet specific criteria:

​

  • Existing License Status: You must have a valid perpetual Dynamics license (such as NAV, GP, SL, or AX) purchased prior to September 1, 2024.

  • Active Enhancement Plan: Your EP must be active at the time of enrollment. While there is a 30-day grace period for lapsed plans, customers with older lapses must pay back-dated fees (capped at a maximum of three years) to re-enter eligibility.

  • Minimum Value Requirement: The annualized value of your new cloud licenses must equal or exceed your existing annual EP renewal amount.

  • Exclusion of Prior Participants: Organizations that have previously utilized the "Bridge to the Cloud 1" or "Bridge to the Cloud 2" promotions are generally ineligible for BTC3.
